Elbit Systems' Brazillian subsidiary ARES Aeroespacial e Defesa has been awarded a $100,5 million contract for additional 215 REMAX lightweight remote-controlled weapon stations and associated equipment and services. The new stations will be mounted on the Brazilian Army Logistics Command's Iveco VBTP-MR Guarani 6×6 amphibious armoured vehicles. Brazil acquired a trial batch of 76 REMAX systems in September 2012.
