Plans for the construction of Ada class corvettes for Kiev will be amended, Ukrainian media reported, citing sources in the Defence Ministry.

The first of the Ada Class corvettes was to be built in Turkey and the other three platforms would be built at the Okean shipyard in Nikolayev, Ukraine. With the new plan, it was decided that Turkey would only build the hull of the ship and that the remaining work would be carried out in Ukraine.

 he construction of the first corvette in Nikolayev will be carried out with the help of Turkish experts; the state test of the ship is scheduled to take place in 2023.
