Yenilenen Mil Mi-28N “Night Hunter” helikopterinin prototipi ilk uçuşunu 12 Ekim’de Moskova yakınlarındaki Tomilino’da gerçekleştirdi. Rus Rostec firması, bir parti üretim öncesi helikopteri 2018 yılı içinde teslim etmeyi planlıyor. 2009 yılından bu yana modernizasyon sürecinde olan Night Hunter’lar, 360 derece gözetleme radarı ve yeni bir kontrol sistemi ile donatıldı.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has today awarded a £50m contract to BAE Systems to support the British Armys armoured tracked vehicle fleet, safeguarding 100 jobs. The five-year contract covers an array of design services including safety advice and elements of operational effectiveness for light, medium and heavy armoured vehicles. It also combines a number of existing support contracts into a more efficient and effective contracting agreement saving taxpayers money.
