US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin vowed Wednesday that Washington increasing military support for Israel after the Hamas attack will not drain aid away from Ukraine as it battles Russia. “Make no mistake the United States will remain able to project power and to direct resources to tackle crises in multiple theatres,” Austin said. “So we will stand firmly with Israel as we continue to support Ukraine,” he said, after a meeting of Ukraine’s backers at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
