Russia’s
Roscosmos space agency General Director Igor Komarov said that Roscosmos is
currently in talks with Iran on the possible training of an Iranian astronaut
for a space mission. Komarov also said negotiations were also underway on launching
a satellite for Tehran. Iranian Vice President Sorena Sattari said in the
summer that Iran was interested in running joint space projects with Russia. Russian
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told Russian media in November 2015 that Moscow
and Tehran had struck a deal to cooperate in space research.

NATO and partner nations are taking part in exercise Ramstein Legacy 22, a NATO large-scale live-fire air defence exercise. Seventeen Allied and partner countries trained in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland with aircraft, missile defence systems and electronic warfare systems from 6 to 10 June 2022.
