It is claimed that the long-going quest in Malaysia will come to an end. It is reported that Malaysia has begun formal negotiations with French Dassault company to supply 18 new aircraft in replacement of MiG-29 fighters.
In addition to Rafale, Eurofigther, Gripen, F-18 and Sukhoi entered Malaysia's $2 billion contract. Rafale had offered to install an assembly line in Malaysia.
