The US Navy has awarded a a $29 million contract to EDO Corporation, a subsidiary of Harris Corp, for production and delivery of 300 BRU-55A/A bomb ejector racks to the service.
BRU-55A/A racks enable aircraft to carry a variety of munitions for combat missions including Joint Direct Attack Munitions, the Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser and the Joint Standoff Weapon. Delivery is expected to be complete by April 2020.
