Ukraine introduces the Sokol-300 armed drone. Kiev design office “Luch”, a subsidiary of Ukroboronprom, has launched a reconnaissance and assault variant of its “Sokol-300” platform at its Zhulyansky manufacturing plant.
Equipped with guided missiles with a range of up to 10 km, the drone has a useful load capacity of 300 kilograms. The platform, with a maximum speed of 335 kilometres per hour, is about 9 meters long.
Ukayna state subsidiary Ukrspecexport General Manager Vadim Nozdriya at the beginning of October (2020), Bayraktar TB2'nin Ukraine, said they are interested in the joint production, said they plan to buy 48 armed drones.
