UHTES (Standoff Though the Wall Radar) is a system developed by Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Tic A.Ş. (STM) tha uses radio frequency (RF) signals to detect the presence and location of people in remote closed spaces where visual access is not possible. STM presents its UHTES for the first time.

UHTES  is designed to be mounted on a vehicle and it can be used in situations where the operators can not come closer to the building in which targets are located. UHTES can be used in many cases where detection of people in a remote building is critical such as hostage rescue operations, counter terrorism operations. Radar has a range of 40 meter and it can penetrate through any kind of wall. The project is started as technology development project and protype is ready to be used.
