The first F-35A aircraft to be delivered to the Turkish Air Force conducted its first flight on 10 May at Lockheed Martin facilities in Fort Worth, Texas. The aircraft with the tail number 18-001, which was flown by the test pilot Tony Wilson, is scheduled to be delivered to the Turkish Air Force on June 21st after the test acceptance procedures. F-16 aircraft belonging to Lockheed Martin accompanied the Turkish F-35A flying with Turkish Air Force roundel.
