The largest participation to the KADEX – International Arms Systems and Military Equipment Fair, which will be held in Kazakhstan's capital city Astana, will be the Turkish defence industry with 22 institutions and organizations exhibiting.

The KADEX (International Arms and Military Equipment Fair), which will be held this year with the support of the Republic of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Defence and Aerospace Industry and the Ministry of Defence, will take place in Kazakhstan's capital city Astana between 23-26 May 2018.

According to a statement made by the Turkish Undersecreteriat for Defence Industries (SSM) today, nearly 100 official delegations from 80 countries are expected to participate in KADEX 2018. Under the coordination of SSM and SSI (Defense and Aviation Industry Exporters Association), 22 Turkish companies and institutions will take place in the fair.

SSM announced that it is aiming to add new bilateral cooperations in areas such as air platforms and military education infrastructures to the current ones, such as military communication systems, imaging systems, weapons, ammunition and fire control systems and armored vehicle projects.

Among the companies that will participate in the fair are ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, OTOKAR, BMC, İŞBİR, STM and TAI.
