Russia announced the Russian Air Forces Tu-160 strategic bombers (NATO reporting name: Blackjack) flew at the North Pole. “White Swans” taking off from the Saratov region of Russia flew to Chukotka via the North Pole. The statement appeared on the Zvezda television of the Russian Ministry of Defence. It was understood that strategic planes flew a total of 9 thousand kilometres without problem. Aircraft is capable of flying 12,300 km without mid-air refuelling.
