The competition in Turkey's rankings on the US defence magazine Defense News' list of the first hundred companies according to financial turnovers increased. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) ranked four steps below of ASELSAN while the highest place on behalf of Turkey continued to be ASELSAN. ASELSAN ranked 57th in the list by rising one step compared to last year. TAI rose up eleven digits and found itself in 61rd place.

The first in the highest turnover listed each year has not changed again and the US Lockheed Martin kept its first place. For the first time this year, Turkish ROKETSAN company entered the list and ranked 98th. Besides ROKETSAN, two new companies and institutions entered the list for the first time.
