The US has suspended acceptance of most F-35 deliveries from the manufacturer Lockheed Martin because of a dispute over who will cover costs for fixing a production error. Lockheed confirmed the issue on Wednesday, saying that the F-35 Joint Program Office has temporarily suspended accepting aircraft until an agreement on a contractual issue would be reached and that they expected the issue to be resolved soon. A Lockheed spokeswoman added that the company remains confident that it can meet its delivery target of 91 aircraft for 2018.
