June 21, 2017Textron’s ‘Nightwarden’ Unveiled
Textron Systems unveiled the new Nightwarden tactical unmanned aerial system (TUAS) at the Paris Air Show on 19 June. The Nightwarden is capable of carrying out intelligence, serveillance and reconnaisance (ISR) missions in addition to its strike capability.
The UAV has a reduced acoustic signature, a payload of up to 59 kg, an endurance of 15 hours, a maximum speed of 90 kt, and a maximum service ceiling of 16 thousand ft.
