Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) and the renowned helicopter manufacturer Sikorsky Aircraft Company signed a cooperation agreement. The 10-year agreement signed on February 28, 2017 at the TAI facilities includes the production of structural components for various helicopter platforms. The project is aimed at delivering products worth US $ 270 million in the first 10 years.
The option of continuing this agreement between TAI and Sikorsky until 2044 can increase the project volume up to US $ 500 million.
