The first Flight2 avionics system integration under the French Air Force's C-130H Hercules military transport modernization program has been completed.

The main contractor of the program, Rockwell Collins, announced on 11 September that the Flight 2 system will provide tactical advantage for the French Air Force in military operations, while also reducing maintenance and operation costs. Flight2 offers a new generation of communications, navigation, surveillance and air traffic management solution in compliance with the most recent International Civil Aviation Organization standards.

Rockwell will modernize a total of 14 French Air Force C-130s.
