Under the leadership of the Presidency for Defence Industries, STM has signed a protocol on the “Development of Electric Propulsion System in Speed ​​Boats“ with ASELSAN at IDEF'19. The protocol of STM was signed with ASELSAN on 30 April at the 14th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF). The signing ceremony was attended by STM Chairman of Board of Directors Celal Sami Tüfekçi, STM General Manager Murat İkinci, ASELSAN Chairman of Board of Directors and CEO Haluk Görgün and ASELSAN Executive Vice President İbrahim Bekar. The aim of the protocol is to work in collaboration on the development of the electric propulsion system, which has become important for ship technologies, and to create a unity of experience by bringing together know-how and experiences. In this way, it is aimed to develop cooperation and to produce a completely local solution in order to work together on electric drive systems which will become more important in the future.
