Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin revealed that Serbian Army has received four MiG-29 fighter jets from Belarus. The addition of four aircraft increased the number of Serbian MiG-29 fleet to 14.

Vulin said that while visiting Moscow in April, he had talks with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu on supplies of four Mi-35 combat helicopters, four Mi-17 transport helicopters, T-72 tanks, BMP-2 armoured infantry carriers and missile defence systems. Serbia has received six MiG-29s from Russia in October 2017 which are to be modernized.
