Philippines ordered Sea Giraffe AMB radar. Saab produced radar will be integrated into the BRP Gregorio del Pilar (FF-15) and BRP Ramon Alcaraz (FF-16) frigates of the Philippines, along with 9LV radar control systems and screens to increase situational awareness. Radars will be delivered after the FMS (Foreign Military Sales) agreement between the US and the Philippines. Philippines has supplied two ships from the United States in 2011 and 2013.

Sea Giraffe radars are working with American Navy stocks under the name AN ​​/ SPN-50. The system is using on board Independence Class Littroal Combat Ships and amphibious assault ships as well as aircraft carriers to control the air traffic.
