Saudi Arabia to acquire  TOW 2B anti-tank Missiles

The US State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Saudi Arabia of TOW 2B (BGM-71F-Series) anti-tank missiles for an estimated cost of $670 million.  The Defence Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale.

The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has requested to buy up to six thousand six hundred (6,600) TOW 2B missiles (BGM-71F-Series) and ninety-six (96) TOW 2B (BGM-71F-Series) fly-to-buy lot validation missiles.  The total estimated program cost is $670 million.

The principal contractor is Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ.
