Delivery to the first customer of the HJ-12E (Red Arrow 12E) missile, which is considered to be the Chinese equivalent of the FGM-148 Javelin missile,has been completed. Systems procured by undisclosed country, were first introduced at 2014 Airshow China.

HJ-12E, the export version of HJ-12 missiles, weighs 22 kilograms. Missiles launched from a 1.25 m long tube can be fired from enclosed spaces thanks to the cold launch method. The system is 140 mm in diameter and has a tandem warhead. Missile can pierce 1,110 mm RHA armour stands out with its fire-forget ability.
