Raytheon will sell the Patriot system to a new country. Sweden to procure Patriot air defence system. Agreement expected to signed next week. While Stockholm was reported to supply four firing units, the number of missiles was unexplained. The price of the deal to be signed is expected to be around 1.3 billion US Dollars. Sweden will have the option of buying up to 300 missiles. If 300 missiles were procured, the deal would be worth US $ 3 billion.

Raytheon, the manufacturer of the Patriot system has delivered more than 220 launch units. System has 15 users worldwide. Thanks to its flexible structure, system, can be upgraded according to the user requirements, has been subjected to more than 1,400 flight tests during the design and development process.
