The Z111 factory of Vietnam's Ministry of Defense has announced that it produces an OSV-96 anti-material rifle.
OSV-96s which produced under license by Z111 factory are Russian origin. The weapon, which uses 12.7×108 millimeters ammunition, has a semi-automatic mechanism. Designed by the Russian KBP Design Bureau, the rifle can be used from 2500 meters against big targets. The weapon can be folded to make it easier to move. The free-floating barrel and the enlarged muzzle brake are reduce the blowback of the OSV-96.
