August 22, 2017New Weapon Station for ‘Typhoon-VDV’
Uralvagonzavod, part of Russian State Corporation Rostec, revelaed on Thursday that the K4386 “Typhoon-VDV” light airborne armoured vehicle with a new-generation remote weapon station into service before the end of 2017.
The new weapon station was designed by the Burevestnik Central Research Institute and has been currently undergoing state trials. It is equipped with a 30mm 2A42 automatic cannon and a 7.62mm caliber machine gun.
