Russian defence Corporation Kronstadt Technologies has introduced new Orion-E unmanned aerial vehicle during MAKS-2017. According to authorities, Orion-E is the first ever produced MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) unmanned aircraft system of Russian Federation. The systemwhich is notable for its similarity to the US production MQ-1 Predator and Chinese Wing Loong Block 1 systems, can carry up to 200 kilograms payload. Studies with Rosoboronexport is continuing to make the system which can take off and land autonomously available to procure to the Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa markets.
