The Philippine Navy will receive two AW159 Lynx Wildcat helicopters. Anti-submarine warfare capable helicopters will be delivered in March 2019. When the helicopters are put into service, they will be deployed to the new frigates ordered by the Navy to Republic of Korea. In 2016, the Philippines signed an agreement with Leonardo for anti-submarine warfare helicopter of US $ 101 million.
The Lynx Wildcat helicopters, which can be managed by a two-man crew, have a maximum take-off weight of 6,000 kilograms. Platforms maximum altitude is 4,750 meters. Lynx Wildcat's maximum range is 963 kilometers and it's endurance is 2 hours and 40 minutes.
