The delivery of KIRAÇ New Generation Criminal Investigation Vehicle, developed in accordance with the needs of the Directorate General of Security Criminal Department, continues.
As part of the project, led by Presidency of Defence Industries (Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı/ SSB), the main contractor of Katmerciler; a total of 60 KIRAÇ will be delivered, including 20 armoured and 40 without armour.
With the participation of Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, the platforms carried out in the delivery ceremony will be used operationally in armoured personnel carriers, command and control vehicles and internal security missions. The platform also has a rescue crane and can take images with a 360-degree camera system.
The next generation of criminal investigation tools will be used in crime scene investigation units and regional laboratory offices across the country.
Within the scope of the project, 385 specially designed panelvans-type crime scene investigation tools will be added to the agency, which will be used by crime scene investigation units in the field.
KIRAÇ was introduced for the first time at IDEF'19 International Defence Fair.
