China has commissioned another Type 056 (Jiangdao)-class corvette, Hanzhong (520), on 11 July. The vessel, launched in July 2016, entered service in China's People's Liberation Army Navy's (PLAN's) South Sea Fleet. 

The guided missile corvette has a length of 89m, beam of 11.6m and maximum draft of 4.4m. The full load displacement of the warship is 1,365t and crew capacity is 60. The corvette is armed with four YJ-83 anti-ship cruise missiles, an AJK-10 (HQ-10) surface-to-air missile launcher that can fire up to eight missiles and two 324mm triple torpedo tubes.
