New Anti-tank To Switzerland

Saab has secured a $120 million contract with Switzerland for its next generation light anti-tank weapon (NLAW), the company announced on 28 June. developed by Saab and produced by Thales UK, the shoulder launched weapon will fill the capability gap caused by the decommissoning without replacement of the Dragon M47 2008. Switzerland is set to receive the new weapons between 2018 and 2021. 

NLAW has a range between 20-800 meters and has a “fire and forget” principle of operation. Designed for all climate conditions and environments, NLAW has an operational temperature of  nimus 38 to 63 degrees celsius.
