Northrop Grumman carried out the first flight test of the new MS-177 seven-band multispectral sensor, designed to provide a broad-area search capability for RQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned aircraft system (UAS). Reportedly, developmental tests of Global Hawk and the MS-177 sensor, which will demostrate the system meets the air force's requirements, will begin in April.Â
