Modified F-35C Back at Eglin AFB After Seven Months

The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East has delivered the first modified US Navy F-35C Lightning II on 17 May.

FRC East modified and delivered the aircraft seven months after it received the F-35C in November 2017. The US Navy aircraft underwent required structural modifications and other upgrades and returned to Eglin Air Force Base. 

FRC East also performs maintenance work on F-35A and F-35B variants.
