Indonesia, which has accelerated its armament and replacing/modernisation activities in parallel with the increasing tension in the region, has left behind an important phase in the F-16 modernization process.

The first Indonesian Air Force (Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Udara / TNI-AU) F-16A Fighting Falcon, serial number TS-1610, completing its modernization activities, and made first flight. Under the Falcon STAR (Structural Augmentation Roadmap) program, the Indonesia F-16s, which will carry out mid-life upgrade activities, will undergo some improvements.
