February 8, 2018Maiden Flight of Hawk-i with Indigenous RTOS
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has carried out the first flight of Hawk-i with indigenous Real Time Operating System (RTOS) also developed by the company.
The RTOS performance has been validated on the Mission Computer of HAL’s Hawk-i trainer aircraft and the RTOS was able to meet all its design requirements during the flight, the company said in a statement.
