Turkish Deputy Undersecretary of Defence Industries Köksal Liman's place of duty has changed. Liman was appointed as a consultant to the Ministry of National Defence. The decision on the appointment of Liman was published in the Official Gazette dated 3 November 2017.

Under the management of Liman were land vehicles, helicopters, international cooperation and subsystems. One day prior to Liman's assignment, the project on “Modernization of Combat and Utility Helicopter Modernization, Improvement and additional mass production, projects related to tank modernization and mass production” were discussed in the defence industry executive committee meeting (SSİK) on 2 November 2017.
