The Republic of Korea has inked a contract to purchase 90 more Taurus long-range air-to-ground missiles in addition to the 170 missiles ordered under a 2013 contract.
“The contract was signed in late February,” Kang Hwan-seok, spokesman for the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), however, had not issued a news release on the contract.
Produced by German-Swedish defence producer Taurus Systems GmbH, the missile has a range of 500 kilometres.
