The US has signed a new agreement with Lockheed Martin for $ 49,618 million. Under the agreement, the company will produce the Joint Air to Ground Missile (JAGM) system for the US Army. Deliveries will be completed in 2021.

According to the company, JAGM gthers the capabilities of the Hellfire II missile and the Longbow Hellfire missiles on a single platform. JAGM combines the semi-active laser and the millimeter wave radar system in a single guidance section and uses AGM-114R Hellfire Romeo warhead, motor and flight control system. The JAGM system maintains its performans although harsh environment or countermeasures. thanks to the dual mode guidance system.
