After the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, search and rescue efforts continue without slowing down. While Türkiye sends all its aid and support to the earthquake zone, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Centre for Advanced Studies in Music (MIAM) has developed a debris listening application that does not require an internet connection in the earthquake zone.

The application was made available to earthquake victims free of charge without the need for an internet connection. The system, which was developed to detect the people under the debris, can distinguish the human voice from other sounds thanks to its frequency settings.
