TAI and Aselsan united their forces at TFX Project. Two of leading companies of the sector have signed a preliminary agreement on the development of radar, electronic warfare and electro-optical systems for TFX during Eurasia Airshow in Antalya. Under the signed prelminary agreement, development work will be initiated for the sub-systems for the needs and capabilities of a fifth-generation aircraft required for the TFX project. It is planned to integrate the critical mission systems that need to be developed with local capabilities and to gain full operation capability on the plane in the future. With the local development program for the most important components of an aircraft such as electro-optical, radar, electronic warfare systems wit own resources, will be an important technological infrastructure in this area for Turkey.
