The Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) shared the images of two new projects on its website. Atak helicopters was introduced with the following words:

ATAK 2 ATTACK HELICOPTER PROJECT. The “ATAK 2 Attack Helicopter Project”, which will be designed with fully indigenously at local facilities and with national capabilities, has been launched in the context of technological know-how and operational experience gained in T129 ATAK Helicopter. In this direction, the subsystems developed under the scope of the T625 General Purpose Helicopter Project will be used, the helos will have high performance with modern avionic systems and reduced logistics costs.

10-TON CLASS GENERAL PURPOSE HELICOPTER PROJECT
The project aims to develop a 10-ton general purpose helicopter with military configuration suitable for search and rescue and offshore operations. The helicopter will be designed with operational requirements in mind, such as a standing cabin with stand, rear ramp, and foldable landing gear.

The helicopter will be designed to have a staff capacity of 20+ persons, with a maximum speed of 170 knots and a range of 1000 km and will accommodate advanced technological missions and flight systems.
