Russia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Iran, covering establishment of a joint venture to undertake assembly of the Kamov Ka-226 'Hoodlum' or Ansat light helicopters in Iran. The MoU, announced on 3 April, was signed by Russian Helicopters CEO Andrei Boginsky and Iran's Industrial Development & Renovation Organization (IDRO) chairman Mansour Moazzami.Â
