Heckler & Koch showed up the new modular rifle. The new generation assault rifle, HK433, was built to compete with the German Army's (Bundeswehr) G36 rifle replacement program. The HK433 is operated with a short-stroke gas piston system. Upper receiver and handguard of the rifle are made of high strength aluminum. The rifle, which can be produced in various barrel lengths, is suitable for both right and left hand use. H & K designed the standard munition of rifle to 5,56 × 45 mm and markets it for Special Forces. The same rifle operating mechanism is kept constant and is also presented as 7,62 × 51 mm in the battle rifle. Heckler & Koch aims to sell HK433 primarily to NATO countries.
