Raytheon Missile Systems has been awarded a $450 million contract by the US Department of Defence for design, development, integration, test and production engineering for changes to the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) II technical and production baseline. The work under the contract is scheduled to be completed by 31 August 2024. 

The U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy have begun SDB II bomb integration activities on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft. Raytheon will complete integration on the F-15E Strike Eagle in 2017.
