CANiK, one of Türkiye’s leading arms manufacturers, has delivered 750 units of Türkiye’s only qualified national anti-aircraft gun, CANiK M2 QCB, to the TAF and law enforcement.

The delivery is the largest one-shot delivery of 12.7mm anti-aircraft in the history of the Republic.

The CANiK M2 QCB is being put into service as a new performance enhanced version of the M2 heavy machine gun, which is widely used by the infantry for anti-material and anti-personnel purposes in armoured and unarmoured vehicles, naval platforms and on tripod bases.

CANiK M2 QCB was developed within the scope of the “Platform Machine Gun Project” signed with the Presidency of Defence Industries in 2018.
