The US Army is to deploy its General Atomics MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to its military base in Gunsan, a city 274 kilometers south of Seoul, to enhance its strike capabilities against North Korea. Capable of carrying four Hellfire air-to-surface missiles and four GBU-44/B Viper Strike glide bombs, medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) Gray Eagle has an endurance of 25 hours, a maximum speed of 167 knots and is able to operate up to 8,840 meters.
