At IDEX-2019 in Abu Dhabi, Russia exhibited the fuses used in multi-barreled rocket launchers. Such systems produced in Russia in the past were not exhibited in any activity.

 
The electrical fuses developed by Techmash Group, a subsidiary of Russia-based Rostec, are being exhibited for the first time at IDEX-2019. The company produces various solutions according to different mission requirements. Techmash also give information about the products. Displayed products include electric timer systems as well as impact-triggered models. For different types of ammunition, the company also produces systems that trigger precision explosion at the desired altitude to create a shrapnel cloud on the target. In addition, works are being carried out on the new generation of fuses.
 

Techmash also works on the new generation of smart fuses for the new Tornado-G ammunition. Within the framework of the program, which has been going on for four years, the company develops autonomous systems according to the target and ammunition and develops systems that determine the optimum blast area. Thus, it is aimed to increase the effectiveness of ammunition on target. New smart plugs are expected to be introduced in 2020.
