The first inspection meeting was held for the Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicle (ZAHA) to be developed and produced by the FNSS for the Naval Forces Command. 27 ZAHA are planned to be produced. At the meeting on July 14th, attended by the FNSS, Undersecretariat of Defence Industry and the authorities from the Force Command, the operation concept and mission needs defined by the Naval Forces were invested in the task.  Thus, important conceptual design phase have also officially begun.

As known, UDI initiated the ZAHA Project on March 7th for the use of the amphibious fleet of the Turkish Naval Forces Command. The ZAHA contract was signed to meet the armored vehicle requirement for TCG Anadolu amphibious assault ship.
