Japan will deliver the first two Beechcraft TC-90 King Air advanced trainers out of five ordered to Philippines on 27 March. The country's Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Agency announced the remaining three aircraft is scheduled to be delivered before the end of this year. Philippines desicion to lease Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's (JMSDF's) TC-90 trainers took effect in March 2016. The trainers will not be armed, only to be equipped with basic surveillance systems.
