F-15QA Aircraft Completes Its First Flight

The F-15QA aircraft developed for the Qatar Emirate Air Force (QEAF) successfully performed its first flight. The platform is the version of the F-15 Advanced Eagle produced for Qatar. The plane took off from Lambert International Airport in St. Louis and remained in the air for 90 minutes.

Boeing had signed contracts with Qatar in 2017 for 36 F-15QA's. Deliveries are planned to start in 2021. The company also signed another $ 500 million deal in 2019 for crew training and aircraft maintenance.
