US Department of Defence, announced new agreement signed with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-ASI). Under the contract, which worths USD 188,866 million, four MQ-9B SkyGuardians will be produced and delivered to Belgium. In addition to the platforms, two ground control stations, spare parts and support equipment will be delivered to the user. Deliveries to be made within the scope of FMS (Foreign Military Sales) are planned to be completed on March 31, 2024.

The MQ-9B, the most advanced model of the MQ-9 UAV family, has a wingspan of 24 meters. platforms with composite fuselages with lightning protection; It can reach 15,000 metres altitude and 40 hours endurance. The system also has an automatic take-off and landing feature.
